IJCAI is pleased to announce the continuation of their Student Volunteer Program for 2013. The Student Volunteer Program is an essential part of the conference, and student participation is a valuable contribution. Volunteers will support IJCAI-13 organizers in Beijing. In 2013, a limited number of complimentary technical program registrations will be available for students who volunteer during the conference, which will also cover the Doctoral Consortium.
The volunteer program is intended either for local students or for foreign students who have already other sources of funding to travel to Beijing. If you are also seeking travel funds, you may apply for the IJCAI-13 travel grant program.
There are a limited number of volunteer positions and preference is given to students who are actively participating in IJCAI-13 with accepted papers or posters. However, all eligible students are encouraged to apply.
Applicants should:
- submit an IJCAI-13 Volunteer Application form, and
- email a signed letter of recommendation of their supervisors to volunteers -at- ijcai13.org or volunteers -at- ijcai13.org (if applicable) no later than 4th May 2013. A decision will be sent by 15th May 2013.
