Behavior informatics refers to the methodologies, techniques and practical tools for representing, modeling, analyzing, understanding and utilizing human, organizational, societal, artificial and virtual behaviors, and behavioral interactions and relationships. This tutorial introduces the state-of-the-art methodologies, techniques, systems and applications on the formation and decomposition of behaviororiented groups and collective intelligence, and analysis and mining of behavioral networks, behavioral impact and utility, positive and negative behavioral patterns, high impact and high utility behavior patterns and anomalies, and group and community behaviors.
